Yonkers, NY, November 12, 2025 — Suburban Pest Control’s annual family picnic at Tibbetts Brook Park was about more than great food and good company this year — it was about giving back. The Suburban team, along with their families and vendor partners, came together with the Jr League of Central Westchester to support local children and families in need through a community Diaper Drive benefiting The Sharing Shelf, a member of the National Diaper Bank Network.
“At Suburban, we believe community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Ken Unger, President of Suburban Pest Control. “Our work may focus on protecting homes and businesses, but it’s just as important to support the families who live within them.”
Each Suburban family arrived at the annual picnic with donations of diapers and wipes, joined by contributions from valued industry partners, including Catch Master Pro, Target Specialty, Veseris, MGK, and Haran Printers. Together, they collected and delivered an incredible 2,489 diapers and 2,568 wipes to The Sharing Shelf — ensuring under-resourced families in Westchester County have access to these critical necessities.
“Seeing our team and partners rally behind this cause was incredible,” added Dan McArdle, Vice President of Operations. “It reminds us that even small acts — a box of diapers, a pack of wipes — can make a huge difference when a community comes together.”
The event underscores Suburban Pest Control’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and its mission to make a positive impact both inside and outside the homes it serves.
